Lobbying issues and bill citations

LBR · Labor Issues/Antitrust/Workplace

Comprehensive Paid Leave for Federal Employees, has not been reintroduced yet.

GOV · Government Issues

We work with Congress on a bi-partisan bill Save Social Security Act, which eliminates the so called Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and GPO that affects federal, local and state retirees. We continue to monitor executive orders and legislation that reduce the federal workforce.

CIV · Civil Rights/Civil Liberties

We are monitoring pay equity and paycheck fairness act (S. 115 and H.R.17), which amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to provide more effective remedies to victims of discrimination in the payment of wages on the basis of sex, and for other purposes. We also are advocating for the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) to be included as the 28th amendment to the US Constitution.

Literal federal measure citations: S. 115, H.R.17
