Phase 5 ยท cross-source research
Follow a topic through the public record
Use one literal phrase across source-supplied poll labels, official legislative taxonomies, labeled record text, and exact bill relationships. Every result says how it matched.
One phrase, searched independently. Politically does not claim that separate source taxonomies are equivalent, add synonyms, rank records, or infer that a poll caused a bill or measures support for it.
Campaign-finance records are excluded because the FEC cache does not issue-tag candidates or committees.
What this adds
Relationships, not a larger search list.
A topic lens keeps related bills, their latest official actions, exact-key roll calls, enacted laws, and scheduled meetings together while preserving the individual source boundaries.
Cached labels
Start with source language.
The form suggestions are drawn from cached Congress.gov and Open States subject fields, not an editorial Politically taxonomy.
