Budget Reconciliation ( (House, Senate, and White House) Supported passage of H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Specifically, we supported extension of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 including: Reduced Pass-Through Tax Rates and Expanded Brackets New Sect. 199A Unlimited Bonus Depreciation The bill's Estate Tax exemption of $15 million person/$30million couple indexed for inflation We also supported the bill's many Farm Bill provisions including: Increased reference prices and crop insurance subsidies New investments in federal working lands programs Investments in livestock disease prevention programs

Trade/Tariffs (House, Senate, and White House) Nebraska Farm Bureau strongly supports the expansion of trade with new trading partners around the world. Nebraska Farm Bureau also supports efforts to eliminate non-tariff trade barriers.

MAHA (House, Senate, and White House) Nebraska Farm Bureau was highly disappointed with the initial Make Our Children Healthy Again or MAHA Report. Nebraskas farmers and ranchers are committed to improving human health outcomes with sound science and the use of the latest technology. We remain concerned with any effort to limit the use of crop protection tools needed by farmers and ranchers. NEFB joins the administration in wanting to ensure sound public health, while at the same time, not making policy changes that put our abundant food supply at risk.
