During this period I contacted Alaska's congressional delegation to advocate for the continuation of the Section 242, 243, and 247 hydroelectric incentive programs and for full staffing of the program offices.

Working with Alaska's congressional delegation on frozen federal grants to electric utilities in Alaska. Advocating for the continuation of tax credit programs related to hydropower, solar, and wind. Specific bill is H.R. 1 Advocating for the Fix Our Forests Act, S.1462/H.R. 471. Also advocating for hydropower licensing reform and streamlining. I also organized a fly-in that held meetings with staff from Department of Energy, USDA, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and our congressional delegation.
