Community is seeking water infrastructure funding to help serve its growing water needs. This would come from the EPA account of the FY26 Interior and Environment Approp[riatioms bill. The City is also seeking funding to support its street infrtastructuew including the repair and the widening of an over used street. This would be supplied through the FY26 THUD Appropriations bill and from the Transportation account of that bill. More will be known about these requests once House Energy and Water and Interior and Environment mark up their FYY26 bills in the Spring. At the moment, no bill number has been assigned to the Interior and Environment Appropriations FY26 bill.
