IHA advocated to our Members of Congress and to representatives from the Department of Health and Human Services on issues related to: Medicaid State-Directed Payments, site-neutral policies, the 340B Drug Payment Program, hospital finances, workforce concerns, regulatory relief and other similar topics related to hospital sustainability and operations. IHA also submitted comments to the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) on their Request for Information on a 340B Rebate Model Pilot Program (HRSA-2026-03042) and to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on their proposed rule for the Fiscal Year 2027 Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment System (CMS-1849-P).
