Educate Members and the Administration about the pork supply chain; advocate for pork producers due to economic harm from supply chain and other market disruptions; educate policymakers about emerging infectious diseases in the pork industry and monitor the Farm Bill reauthorization process and animal health legislation. Monitor and advise on policy developments pertaining to market oversight and competition matters, including the revocation of the Biden Administration's Executive Order on Promoting Competition in the American Economy, the Packers and Stockyards regulation, and other relevant legislative efforts.
