Build relationships with Idahos congressional delegation in order to prevent and/or stop any attempts to sell federal public lands and resource extraction leases without due process or environmental protections. ● Advocate for the passage of the Public Lands in Public Hands Act, including securing the first U.S. Senate Sponsor and collaborating with the Public Lands Caucus. ● Advocate for Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) and Secure Rural Schools (SRS) programs, increasing the financial reimbursement to rural counties in Idaho who have high percentages of federal public lands.
