*On April 2nd, ADLM joined with other healthcare groups in a letter to House and Senate appropriators supporting $175 million in the fiscal year (FY) 2027 budget for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advanced Molecular Detection program. *On April 10th, an ADLM-led coalition of healthcare groups wrote to House and Senate appropriators seeking an additional $7.2 million in the FY27 CDC budget for harmonizing clinical laboratory test results. *On April 10th, an ADLM-led coalition of healthcare groups wrote to House and Senate appropriators seeking $10 million in the FY27 CDC budget to improve pediatric reference intervals. *On April 21st, ADLM joined other healthcare groups in supporting $29 million for the CDC Newborn Screening Quality Assurance Program and $29 million for the Health Resources and Service Administration Heritable Disorders Program in their respective FY27 budgets.
