MOFB has engaged on various agriculture related issues, including animal health disease outbreaks, with both the Administration and U.S. Congress. We also discussed the current farm economy and impacts of high impact costs and low commodity prices.

Organization submitted multiple comment letters and attended events hosted on behalf of the relevant agencies, as well as communicated frequently with Congress on issues such as Waters of the United States.

TAX · Taxation/Internal Revenue Code

Ongoing negotiations surrounding tax reform are a priority of Missouri Farm Bureau. The organization supported the One Big Beautiful Bill, which was recently signed into law.

ENG · Energy/Nuclear

The organization has engaged in multiple discussions surrounding energy development and property rights.

BUD · Budget/Appropriations

Tax reform as part of the overall budget reconciliation process has been a topic of discussion with elected officials.

ENV · Environment/Superfund

Continued engagement on water related regulatory issues, as well as conservation issues.
