Lobbying issues and bill citations
We work with Congress on a bi-partisan bill Save Social Security Act, which eliminates the so called Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and GPO that affects federal, local and state retirees. We continue to monitor executive orders and legislation that reduce the federal workforce.
We are monitoring pay equity and paycheck fairness act (S. 115 and H.R.17), which amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to provide more effective remedies to victims of discrimination in the payment of wages on the basis of sex, and for other purposes. We also are advocating for the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) to be included as the 28th amendment to the US Constitution.
Relationship and amount limits
Bill links use only the filing year’s mathematically derived Congress plus the literal measure type and number in the issue description. Unmatched citations remain plain text. Politically.com does not join on names, infer advocacy positions, combine amendments, or calculate totals across filings.
