Support democracy reforms, including public matching funds systems for congressional and presidential campaigns, voting rights protections, redistricting reforms, and strengthened campaign finance laws and enforcement. Support democracy reforms, including public matching funds systems for congressional and presidential campaigns, voting rights protections, redistricting reforms, and strengthened campaign finance laws and enforcement. Support the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (H.R. 14, S. 2523) which would restore, strengthen, and modernize the voting rights protections included in the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Support the DISCLOSE Act (S. 3991), to restore transparency in American elections and restore fairness and accountability in our political system. Oppose the DC Attorney General Appointment Reform Act (H.R. 5179), which would take power away from the people of the District of Columbia by granting the President the ability to fire the democratically elected attorney general of DC and replace them with a person of the Presidents choosing. Oppose the SAVE America Act (H.R.7296) which would require individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections and photo identification to vote in federal elections. Oppose the Make Elections Great Again Act (H.R. 7300) which would make it harder for millions of eligible American citizens to vote. Oppose the SAVE America Act (S.3752) which would make it harder for millions of eligible American citizens to vote. Oppose efforts by federal authorities to block Minnesotas independent investigation into the Customs and Border Patrol killing of Alex Pretti.
