Advocating for increased access to outpatient mental health care services provided in community settings for veterans, active duty servicemembers, and their families who are in need of treatment for mental health issues (depression, anxiety, and PTSD). Specifically, advocating for enactment of H.R. 2283, the RECOVER Act, which would permit VA to contract with outpatient community providers to deliver evidence-based mental health treatment.
