Oppose Executive orders that removed authority from OFCCP, that improperly went after diversity, equity and inclusion programs, EEOC steps to try to compel employers to abandon DEI efforts, the EEOC's decision to stop following the law established by the Supreme Court in Bostock. Oppose nomination of Andrea Lucas and Brittany Panuccio for the EEOC.

LBR · Labor Issues/Antitrust/Workplace

Support efforts to raise the federal minimum wage and to expand coverage of the overtime laws to more workers. Weighed in on various nominations for positions at the Department of Labor, including opposing nomination of JOnathan Berry to be Solicitor of Labor. Worked with Senate offices to develop the Empowering App Based Workers Act. Opposed bills to provide safe harbor for platform companies providing portable benefits, and opposed bills that would make it easier to misclassify employees as independent contractors.

UNM · Unemployment

Advocate for the Unemployment Insurance Modernization and Recession Readiness Act and general reform and effective oversight of the UI program by DOL.

IMM · Immigration

Advocate for the protection of the immigrant workforce. Advocate for continuation of Temporary Protected Status.

BUD · Budget/Appropriations

Advocate for adequate funding for DOL, NLRB and EEOC
