Pipeline Safety: Standards Update-ASTM F1973

PHMSA is confirming the effective date for the DFR that appeared in the Federal Register on July 1, 2025. The DFR amended PHMSA's regulations at 49 CFR part 192 to incorporate by reference ASTM International's updated industry standard ASTM F1973, "Standard Specification for Factory Assembled Anodeless Risers and Transition Fittings in Polyethylene (PE) and Polyamide 11 (PA11) and Polyamide 12 (PA12) Fuel Gas Distribution Systems."
