Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards No. 303; Fuel System Integrity of Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles

On May 30, 2025, NHTSA published a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) proposing to remove obsolete text in Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 303, "Fuel system integrity of compressed natural gas vehicles". The agency received no comment on the proposed changes to FMVSS No. 303, and therefore the agency is adopting the changes in this final rule.
