Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards No. 207; Seating Systems

On May 30, 2025, NHTSA published a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) proposing to remove obsolete requirements from Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) No. 207, Seating Systems. The agency received no comment on the proposed changes to FMVSS No. 207, and therefore the agency is adopting the changes in this final rule.
