Special Local Regulation; Lake Erie, Fairport Harbor, OH

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain waters off the shore of Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park on Lake Erie. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Fairport Harbor, OH during the Lake Metroparks Pirate Triathlon event on August 2, 2026. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from entering the regulated area unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector Eastern Great Lakes or their designated representative.
