Safety Zone; Fireworks Display, Ohio River, Follansbee, WV

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for the Ohio River on August 1, 2026, from mile marker 70 to mile marker 71, near Follansbee, WV. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with a fireworks display. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Marine Safety Unit Pittsburgh, or their designated representative.
