Safety Zone; Illinois River, Morris, IL

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone in Morris, IL, for the Corn Festival Fireworks on September 26, 2026, to provide for the safety of life on navigable waterways during this fireworks display. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards during a fireworks event. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Lake Michigan or their designated representative.
