Proposed rule 2026-08385

Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all The Boeing Company Model 757 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of crack damage at existing reinforcing repairs in the fuselage frame lower lobe areas in certain sections. This proposed AD would require doing an inspection for any existing reinforcing repairs in the fuselage frame lower lobe areas in certain sections and applicable on-condition actions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
